My name is Chiapei [ja pe]. I was born in Taiwan, grew up in Vancouver, BC, and currently reside in Brooklyn with my husband, two pups, and several plants.

I'm passionate about designing outdoor apparel that brings people closer to nature. Spending time in nature can benefit one's physical and mental well-being and bring awareness to the environment.

I am excellent at identifying cultural + trend shifts and incorporating my findings into relevant and meaningful products. I believe circular fashion should go beyond restoration and repair; it should be able to reach secondary or tertiary ownership - and that's the impact I strive for in my design.

Outside of work, I am an endurance runner who likes to eat miles for breakfast and chase MTB in the woods.
